Is Rasputin Dead?

Looking at the NL East standings you will see that the Mets have a 9 1/2 game lead over the second place Phillies. But more importantly, in last place, 14 games back, are the Atlanta Braves. If the Mets played .500 over the rest of the season (94 games) they'd have 90 wins. The Braves would have to go 60-32 (.652) just to tie. It may be too early to give the Mets the division but with their bullpen, I doubt the Braves will be winning their 15th consecutive division title.

Never count them out. you just put the KOD on the end of their streak.

If it does end, is it because a) it was time, b)the mets are that much better, or c) Mazzone left?
