Tom Glavine was effective and efficient. He gave up 1 run and 6 hits in 6 innings. Exactly the same stats (in those categories) as Opening Day last year.

Hopefully LoDuca put to rest the talk of him moving down in the lineup with 3 RBI.

Bullpen was spotty but didn't allow any runs.

Defense was awesome, turning 4 double plays including that great stop by Valentin that ended a Cardinals rally.

Every starter got a hit, including Shawn Green.
