Mets At the All-Star Game

Four Mets competed in the All-Star Game.

David Wright had a single in 3 at bats, and broke his bat in the 6th inning.

Carlos Beltran tripled in 3 at bats, but wasn't hustling out of the box. He scored on a sac fly to give the NL it's second run.

Jose Reyes had 3 hits in 4 at bats. In the first he singled and stole second and even though Bonds didn't advance him he scored on a single by Griffey.

In the third inning Reyes hit a fluke double that skipped past A-Rod when it hit the lip of the grass by third base.

Billy Wagner pitched the 8th inning and allowed a 2-run homer that proved to be crucial for the American League.
