Happy Recap: Mets 7 Braves 2

Oliver Perez was really good. He was throwing strikes and striking people out. He tired in the 7th inning giving up three long hits but all in all pitched a great game. Nice comeback from his last performance. Very encouraging but he needs to put a few good starts together.

Carlos Beltran is on fire.

Jose Reyes and Ramon Castro, my two favorite Mets, both homered. I wouldn't mind if Castro were the new everyday catcher instead of LoDuca. But I don't like David Wright in the 2 hole.

The Mets are just on fire offensively right now, at least 7 runs in four of the last 5 games. But if the Mets lose the battle of Hall of Famers Sunday they will be 2-4 against Atlanta this season.
