Happy Recap: Mets 9 Marlins 2
Another great game where offense explodes and pitching comes through.
John Maine pitched great taking a no-hitter into the 7th inning. I wanted to strangle Gary Cohen. He would not stop talking about it. I know it doesn't have any impact on the outcome but I'd like to watch a no-hitter without hearing about it every second. I bet the Chicago White Sox announcers didn't mention no-hitter half as often as Cohen.
Jose Reyes is just amazing. Even when he leaves runners on base he still gets four hits.
Nice of David Wright to wake up. He's got a long hitting streak, and four RBI.
Also pleased to see the Mets rough up Dontrelle who usually pitches pretty well against us.
